As per the directions of the Hon’ble Allahabad High Court, in a number of writ petitions filed before it, the process of exams for PCS – 2017 being reviewed by UPPSC. Perhaps because of this, the PCS (Prelims) 2018 has been postponed.
As per a recent notification, the PCS Prelims 2018 is now slated to be held in August 2018. Under the circumstances, it is difficult to estimate at this stage the likely date of the holding of PCS (Prelims) 2019.
It is reported that UPPSC has been advised by the state government to hold the PCS exams on the same pattern as the UPSC civil services exam.
