        Jaipur is perhaps the earliest of modem, planned cities and this despite its traditional layout. First the old buildings were renovated and redecorated. Then a detailed survey of the area was made and blue prints made. Interestingly, in these blue prints scope for further expansion was also included. Then geologists, architects and sculptors were included in the making of the plans. The original blue prints of the city of about Jaipur are still preserved.
