I've had breaks, mostly during my time playing the latest game, usually from RuneScape over the many years. The longest was when Evolution of Combat (also known as EoC) was released - the capabilities and action bars were at war with the RuneScape section of my brain.
RuneScape but, as always, discovers a way to catch me and this time this was Legacy Combat Mode, which brought back the tick-based combat system that was the norm in. EoC and me have some issues with each other; mostly due to reluctance on my part, but I'm trying. Rarely.
My diaries have records of my recent RuneScape accomplishments, particularly when I earn a new skilling pet, however, it's necessary to fill up the space with short reflections about how I've played the Indie game I've tried and complaints about my lack of Log Stool DIY recipes in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I'm currently making my list of things I'd like to do in RuneScape for the upcoming year.
It would be nice to develop my Dungeoneering ability (unlikely) and revamp my money pit home. Perhaps I'll even get around to doing this Salt in the Wound quest; once upon a time I was awestruck by this quest, until an acquaintance told me about some pillars - you know, you know. Since that day , I've not got the courage to go after it, but maybe 2022 is the year.
